Mulhuddart Cemetery
A very sensitive issue was brought to Ignatius’ attention last summer when he had attended Mulhuddart cemetery. He got chatting with a local he encountered cleaning up who bemoaned the ‘state of the place’ with rubbish. Ignatius has since committed to ensure the deserved upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery, even going so far as to organise regular clean-up days by volunteers as well as reminding the Council to fulfill their end in a proactive and participative approach. He is also pursuing the disgraceful and dangerous lack of pedestrian safe ways to and from, and across the busy section of road for visitors.
